my story

It wasn't always

at the beginning, it was just doodles in a notebook. it was silly little dreams i'd play around with in my head. it eventually turned into favors for friends and decorating small gatherings. it was flowering in my kitchen and in my garage. it was thrifting pretty things and curating flatware pieces to host dinner parties for my friends. it was a dream and an itch and a deep yearning. it was a long-time developing skill-set. it was finally taking risks that took me far too long to take. it was conversations with my husband and family and close friends. it was fear of quitting a full-time job. it was uneasiness about entering the event industry mid-pandemic. it was excitement for the possibility of being my own boss. it was sadness about realizing the loneliness in entrepreneurship. it was healing as i channeled the inner-workings of my wounds into designing and arranging stems for the people i loved. it was learning how to fail. it was embracing a full-time commitment while also nursing a new baby. it was learning my limits the hard way. it was committing to a lifetime of shaping and molding alongside a craft that i'm passionate about - and seeing it through whether it succeeds or fails. it's my journey toward my dreams,
                   and it's just getting started.
